how we test your eyes
Vision tests determine your visual capability and measure your prescription:- visual acuity
- retinoscopy
- subjective refraction
- reading addition
The eye movement test checks how well your 12 eye muscles are really working:
- cover test
- motility test
- near point of convergence
- accommodation
- stereoscopic vision test
A series of eye health tests check for signs of eye disease and some general health problems such as high blood pressure or diabetes:
- ophthalmoscopy
- tonometry
- visual field test
